This body of work was created at the Sonoran Arts Residency, in Ajo, Arizona, during  May of 2019. This town is located in the middle of the amazing Sonoran desert. It has a beauty and quiet I have never experienced before. Most of these faces belong to people that live in Ajo today, while the others belong to inhabitants of the early 1900’s.
